Redbridge Indoor Athletics Competition 
On Thursday 30th January a mixed Year 5 and 6 indoor athletics team competed in a Redbridge competition. Athletes competed in running, throwing and jumping events, the team tried their best throughout the competition. We had some runners even win their races, Kyle Healy Matthews 5C, Bazi Tindiey 4LY, Simi Asaolu 5C and Aiden Fowell 5S. Well done to all the children who participated! The athlete of the competition has been awarded to Kyle Healy Matthews. 
 
Football fixture v's William Torbitt
On Tuesday 28th January  a mixed year 5 and 6 football team participated in a friendly football fixture against William Torbitt. The team progressed throughout the fixture showing resilience. Unfortunately Coppice did lose 2-0, the game was however very close. Well done to everyone that has participated! The player of the fixture has been awarded to Zack Mitchell 6S for his strength and control of the ball when defending. β€‹
 
Redbridge Netball Tournament 
On Thursday 28th November a mixed year 5 and 6 team in a Redbridge netball tournament. β€‹The team progressed well throughout the tournament, finishing 2nd in the group stages and qualifying for a quarter final. Unfortunately the team lost their fixture and were no longer in the competition. Well done to all the children that participated in the competition! The player of the competition has been awarded to Maisy Coltelli 6S. 
 
Redbridge Football Tournament
On Wednesday 13th November a mixed year 5 and 6 football team participated in a Redbridge football tournament. The team progressed throughout the tournament, scoring a total of 9 goals. Well done to everyone that has participated! The player of the tournament has been awarded to Kyle Healy Matthews. 
 
Redbridge Tag Rugby Competition  
On Wednesday 6th November a mixed team of Year 5 and 6 children took part in the Redbridge Tag Rugby tournament at Wanstead Rugby Club. The team progressed throughout the tournament showing improvements and understanding tactics. They did unfortunately get knocked out of group stages, they did however have some successful games like a 4-0 win against Goodmayes Primary School. β€‹β€‹
