PE Days
Year 3 has PE on the following days

Week A-Monday
Week B-Monday and Thursday

Week B-Thursday
All children will take part in PE twice a week. Please send your child into school wearing their PE Kit on the day that they have PE so that we can spend as much time as possible engaging in the lessons

Reading
Children must bring in their signed reading record each day and take an AR quiz after each book they finish reading. They can do this in class on the class Kindles or at home on the Accelerated Reader website
We will assess the children during the year to check their progress and to ensure they continue to read the right level text.

Homework
A homework grid can be found in the Curriculum & Homework section above. Please select a task and complete it in the purple homework book provided. Homework is due at the end of each term as it is now topic based and we encourage the children to complete a project for each unit.
Children must also log in to Times Tables Rock Stars.
Spellings will be sent home on Friday and tested the following week on a Friday. These will be in paper form.
Items from home
Please bring in your book bag, a bottle of water and your lunch (unless you are having a school lunch). Please don't bring toys or other personal items.
