Welcome to Year 4!

Miss Sharma and Miss Ahmed would like to extend a warm welcome back to Coppice for the start of the new year.

Useful Information

PE Days

Week A and B: Monday and Tuesday

All children will take part in PE twice a week. Please send your child into school wearing their PE kit on the day that they have PE so that we can spend as much time as possible engaging in the lessons.

Thank you for your support and understanding with this. ​

Reading

Children must bring in their signed reading record each day. They will receive a tick on their class Read to Succeed chart each time they read with a chance to be entered into a prize draw at the end of the school year. 

We will assess the children throughout the year to check their progress and to ensure they continue to read the right level text.

Homework

A homework grid can be found in the Curriculum & Homework section above. Please select a task and complete it in the purple homework book provided. Homework is due at the end of each term as it is topic based. 

Children must also log in to Times Tables Rock Stars.

Items from home

Please bring in your book bag, a bottle of water and your lunch (unless you are having a school lunch). Please do not bring toys or other personal items.
